Maree Parisi from Year 5 was so inspired by the unit of work on Gold that she decided to explore the topic further in her research for the National History Challenge. This annual research-based competition is organised by the History Teachers' Association of New South Wales.
Maree's museum exhibit piece about The Eureka Stockade was judged the best research piece in New South Wales in the Democracy category. She was presented with her award at NSW Parliament House on Thursday, 20 October along with other State winners. Well done, Maree!
